As a first-generation American, the mission of Life Science Cares, Inc. resonates with me. At the age of 3, I immigrated with my family to Brooklyn, NY with very little, so I know the odds were stacked against me without organizations like this. Now that I'm in a position to give back, I feel a deep responsibility to support the next generation of youths who are facing similar challenges. The life sciences industry is global, but the impact starts local. By helping here, we can make a rapid and tangible impact within our communities.

On a lighter note, I founded Life Sciences Sherpas - a volunteer-organized collective that aims to foster life sciences collaboration by improving stakeholder connectivity through networking events - which share a common mountain climbing theme Timmerman Traverse, which was one of the many reasons why I was drawn to this cause. As I like to say regarding the philosophy of LS Sherpas, each of us are trying to get to the top, it’s easier to do it together.
