Having grown up in South Central LA during the '60s and '70s, I’ve witnessed poverty, hunger, and homelessness up close. Today, my work in healthcare drives my passion to battle these issues, which are intricately linked with chronic diseases like Alzheimer’s and cancer—ailments that have touched my family deeply.

The Journey:
On August 17th and 18th, I’ll embark on the Timmerman Traverse—20 miles across Washington’s awe-inspiring North Cascades. Inspired by visionaries like Luke Timmerman and Rob Perez, I’m drawn to this challenge not just for the breathtaking views but for the promise of making a tangible difference.

Life Science Cares is more than charity; it’s a crusade against poverty and inequality. We aim to raise $1 million, with my personal goal set at $50,000. Your support is the secret ingredient to our recipe for change.
